Safety Gems was constructed around the basic belief that all children deserve a safe and nurturing environment. It is absolutely crucial and critical to a child’s growth and development to live and thrive in a safe and secure environment. Our vision is to establish our facility to be a safe haven for displaced youth who have suffered greatly in their current environment (which is most often the home they share with their parents or single mother or extended family members and caregivers). Sometimes, the suffering is even due to unforeseen circumstances, like the separation from the family, due to either incarceration or death of a parent or caregiver. Safety Gems will support communities in the Mid-South which includes Shelby County and other surrounding counties within Tennessee, with future expansion goals to expand our services to youth in surrounding areas beyond Tennessee. We will maintain our industry’s highest standard of services as an officially accredited organization that is recognized by the State of Tennessee and the Internal Revenue Service as an approved 501c3 approved nonprofit organization.
The objective of Safety Gems to provide assistance, mentoring and guidance as we reduce the
number of pre-adolescent children who lack a safe, wholesome, nurturing and healthy environment in which they can learn and thrive.
It is our goal at Safety Gems to provide safe temporary housing to youth between ages 5 and 12
years old, and to continuously improve the Safety Gems atmosphere so that it encompasses a
nurturing and loving environment, in times of crisis.
Help us make a difference by making a donation to Safety Gems Provisional Home Care. Every contribution counts!
